District Judge Appointment: Greenan

The Queen has appointed Sarah Octavia Greenan to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Bradford Combined Court Centre with effect from 19 April 2016.

Sarah Octavia Greenan, aged 51 will be known as District Judge Greenan. She was called to the Bar(G) in 1987. She was appointed a fee-paid Tribunal Judge of the First-tier (Social entitlement Chamber) in 2013, as a Fee-paid Tribunal Judge of the First-tier Property Chamber in 2002, as a Deputy District Judge in 2010 and as a Recorder in 2016.
