District Judge Appointment: Gilbertson

The Queen has appointed Helen Alison Gilbertson to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Norwich Combined Court Centre, with effect from 3 November 2014.

Notes to editors

Helen Alison Gilbertson, aged 44, will be known as District Judge Gilbertson. She was called to the Bar (M) in 1993. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
