District Judge Appointment: Giddins

The Queen has appointed Michael Philip Giddins to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Western Circuit, based at Portsmouth Combined Court Centre with effect from 31 July 2018.

Notes to editors

Michael Philip Giddins, aged 61, will be known as District Judge Giddins. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1983. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 1997.
