District Judge Appointment: Fay Ellen Wright

The Queen has appointed Fay Ellen Wright to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Skipton and York County and Family Courts with effect from 6 July 2015.

Notes to editors

Fay Ellen Wright, aged 56, will be known as District Judge Fay Wright. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1983. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
