District Judge Appointment: Earl

The Queen has appointed Timothy James Earl to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Ipswich, Chelmsford and Colchester County and Family Courts with effect from 16 April 2018.

Notes to editors

Timothy James Earl, aged 43 will be known as District Judge Earl. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1998. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013.
