The Queen has appointed Claire Victoria Daniel to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Sheffield Combined Court Centre with effect from 13 March 2018.

Notes to editors

Claire Victoria Daniel, aged 44 will be known as District Judge Daniel. She was Admitted as a Solicitor in 1999. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
