District Judge Appointment: Alun Jenkins

The Queen has appointed Alun Austen Jenkins to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Central Family Court with effect from 23 November 2016.

Notes to editors

Alun Austen Jenkins, aged 60, will be known as District Judge Alun Jenkins. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1981. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013.
