Court of Appeal: Retirement of Lord Justice Rimer

Lord Justice Rimer retires as Lord Justice of Appeal with effect from 7 October 2014.

Sir Colin Percy Farquharson Rimer (70) was called to the Bar (L) in 1968, took Silk in 1988 and elected a Bencher in 1994. He was appointed a Judge of the High Court (Chancery Division) in 1994, a Judge of the Employment Appeal Tribunal in 2002 and a Member of the Competition Appeal Tribunal in 2004. He was appointed Lord Justice of Appeal in 2007.
