Costs Judge of the Senior Courts (Taxing Master) Appointment: Brown

The Queen has appointed Simon Jonathan Brown to be a Costs Judge (Taxing Master of the Senior Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Royal Courts of Justice, London with effect from 6 October 2016.

Notes to editors

Simon Jonathan Brown, aged 51 will be known as Master Brown. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1988.
