Circuit Judge Appointment: Williscroft

The Queen has appointed Elizabeth Susan Williscroft to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Midland Circuit, based both at Wolverhampton Combined Court Centre and Stoke-on-Trent Combined Court Centre on a salaried part-time working basis of 90% with effect from 10 November 2016.

Notes to editors

Elizabeth Susan Williscroft, aged 62, will be known as Her Honour Judge Williscroft. She was admitted to the Roll in 1979. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 1995 and as a District Judge in 2008.
