The Queen has appointed Richard Haydn Williams to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lidington MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Malden.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Birmingham Civil Justice Centre with effect from 22 January 2018.

Richard Haydn Williams, aged 50, will be known as His Honour Judge Richard Williams. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1993. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2005 and a District Judge in 2010.
