The Queen has appointed David Charles Wicks to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Northampton Combined Court, with effect from 5 March 2018.

David Charles Wicks, aged 52, will be known as His Honour Judge Wicks. He was called to the Bar (M) in 1989. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013, as a Recorder in January 2016 and a District Judge in April 2016.
