The Queen has appointed Delia Jane Truman to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lidington MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Malden.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Midland Circuit, based at Birmingham Civil Justice Centre with effect from 22 January 2018.

Notes to editors 

Delia Jane Truman will be known as Her Honour Judge Truman. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1988. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2000 and a District Judge in 2005.
