Circuit Judge Appointment: Sykes

The Queen has appointed Lynda Glenis Sykes to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Northern Circuit, based at Chester County Court, with effect from 12 February 2018.

Notes to editors

Lynda Glenis Sykes, will be known as Her Honour Judge Sykes. She was Admitted as a Solicitor in 1983. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 1997 and a District Judge in 2000.
