The Queen has appointed Mark Ashley Savill to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Bradford Combined Court Centre with effect from 2 March 2015.

Mark Ashley Savill, aged 45, will be known as His Honour Judge Savill. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1993. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Health, Education and Social Care Chamber in 2004.
