Circuit Judge Appointment: Sarah Davies

The Queen has appointed Sarah Jeannette Davies to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Canterbury Combined Court Centre with effect from 17 November 2016.

Sarah Jeannette Davies, aged 57, will be known as Her Honour Judge Sarah Davies. She was called to the Bar (G) in 1984. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber (Social Security and Child Support) in 2011 and as a District Judge in 2013.
