Circuit Judge Appointment: Salmon

The Queen has appointed Jonathan Carl Salmon to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Stafford Crown Court with effect from 19 March 2018.

Jonathan Carl Salmon, aged 52, will be known as His Honour Judge Salmon. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1987. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2003, as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber (Social Security and Child Support) in 2013 and as a District Judge in 2014.
