The Queen has appointed Brian Kenneth Rawlings to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Stoke on Trent County Court, Telford County Court and Birmingham Civil and Family Justice Centre with effect from 14 December 2015.

Notes to editors

Brian Kenneth Rawlings, aged 53, will be known as His Honour Judge Rawlings. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1986. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2008.
