Circuit Judge Appointment: Petts

The Queen has appointed Timothy David Petts to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Wales Circuit, based at the County Court at Cardiff and the Crown Court at Caernarfon, with effect from 2 March 2018.

Notes to editors

Timothy David Petts, aged 44, will be known as His Honour Judge Petts. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1996. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2008.
