Circuit Judge Appointment: Morgan

The Queen has appointed Christopher John Morgan to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP, and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Chelmsford and Basildon Crown Courts with effect from 2 November 2015.

Notes to editors

Christopher John Morgan, aged 51, will be known as His Honour Judge Christopher Morgan. He was called to the Bar (M) in 1987. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2009.
