Circuit Judge Appointment: Marson

The Queen has appointed Denise Lynn Marson to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Family Hearing Centre, Sheffield with effect from 16 April 2015.

Notes to editors

Denise Lynn Marson, aged 48, will be known as Her Honour Judge Marson. She was called to the Bar (I) in 1990. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2008 and as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber (Mental Health) in 2011.
