Circuit Judge Appointment: Lowe

The Queen has appointed Matthew Justin Lowe to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Peterborough Crown Court with effect from 12 February 2018.

Notes to editors

Matthew Justin Lowe, aged 49, will be known as His Honour Judge Matthew Lowe. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1991. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2009.
