Circuit Judge Appointment: Lithman QC

The Queen has appointed Nigel Mordecai Lloyd Lithman QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Luton Crown Court with effect from Tuesday 7 March 2017.

Notes to editors

Nigel Mordecai Lloyd Lithman QC, aged 64, will be known as His Honour Judge Nigel Lithman QC. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1976 and took Silk in 1997. He was appointed as an Assistant Recorder in 1997 and as a Recorder in 2000.
