The Queen has appointed Andrew Jefferies QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Preston Combined Court Centre with effect from 11 April 2018.

Andrew Jefferies QC, aged 49, will be known as His Honour Judge Jefferies QC. He was called to the Bar (M) in 1990 and took Silk in 2009. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2016.
