The Queen has appointed Christopher Joseph Hehir to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP, and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Woolwich Crown Court with effect from 20 October 2015.

Christopher Joseph Hehir, aged 48, will be known as His Honour Judge Hehir. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1990. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2009.
