Circuit Judge Appointment: Hardy

The Queen has appointed Andrew Hardy to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Newcastle upon Tyne Combined Court centre with effect from 22 January 2018.

Notes to editors

Andrew Hardy, aged 53, will be known as His Honour Judge Hardy. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1989, appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2005 and appointed salaried District Judge in 2010.
