Circuit Judge Appointment: Greensmith

The Queen has appointed Thomas Andrew Lewis Greensmith to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Liverpool Civil and Family Court, with effect from 12 February 2018.

Notes to editors

Thomas Andrew Lewis Greensmith, aged 58, will be known as His Honour Judge Greensmith. He was Admitted as a Solicitor in 1986. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 1997 and a District Judge in 2011.
