Circuit Judge Appointment: Godwin

The Queen has appointed William Harold Godwin to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Leicester County Court and Family Court, with effect from 5 March 2018.

Notes to editors

William Harold Godwin, aged 65, will be known as His Honour Judge Godwin. He was Admitted as a Solicitor in 1977. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 1991 and a District Judge in 2000.
