The Queen has appointed District Judge Martin Alan Gordon Dancey to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP, and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Western Circuit, based at Bournemouth County and Family Court with effect from 2 October 2015.

Martin Alan Gordon Dancey, aged 58, will be known as His Honour Judge Dancey. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1981. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 1993 and a District Judge in 1999.
