The Queen has appointed Anthony Maurice Cross to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Manchester Crown Court, Crown Square with effect from 24 October 2016.

Anthony Maurice Cross QC, aged 58, will be known as His Honour Judge Cross QC. He was called to the Bar (M) in 1982 and took Silk in 2006. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2002.
