Circuit Judge Appointment: Climie

The Queen has appointed Roger Stephen Climie to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP, and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Guildford Crown Court with effect from 15 October 2015.

Notes to editors

Roger Stephen Climie, aged 55, will be known as His Honour Judge Climie. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1982. He was appointed as an Assistant Recorder in 1998 and as a Recorder in 2000.
