The Queen has appointed Peter Michael Blair QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chief Justice, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed him to the Western Circuit, based at Swindon Combined Court with effect from 29 September 2014.

Notes to editors

Peter Michael Blair QC, aged 53, will be known as His Honour Judge Blair QC. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1983 and took Silk in 2006. He was appointed as an Assistant Recorder in 1998 and a Recorder in 2000.
