Circuit Bench Retirement: Wait

His Honour Judge John James Wait retires as a Circuit Judge with effect from 1 August 2017.

Notes to editors 

His Honour Judge Wait (67) was called to the Bar (I) in 1972. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1989, a Recorder in 1993 and a Circuit Judge in 1997. He was the Resident Judge for Derby from 2000 to 2008 and Joint Course Director for the Judicial College Criminal Induction Course from 2008 to 2013.
