Appointment of Crispin Butler as senior coroner for the Buckinghamshire coroner area

New Senior Coroner for Buckinghamshire

Buckingham County Council, as relevant authority have today announced the appointment of Crispin Butler as senior coroner for the Buckinghamshire coroner area following an open competition and after receiving the consent of the Chief Coroner and Lord Chancellor. This vacancy is a result of the forthcoming retirement of Richard Hulett who has served as a coroner for 25 years in total and 19 as Senior Coroner. Mr Butler will take up his post on 1 April 2016.

The Chief Coroner wishes Mr Butler well as he takes up his new role.
