Appointment of a Salaried Judge of the Upper Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber: Jackson

The Queen has appointed Gillian Wendy Jackson to be a Salaried Judge of the Upper Tribunal on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP and the Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Ernest Ryder

The Senior President of Tribunals has assigned her to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber with effect from 3 October 2016 on a salaried part-time working basis (60%).

Gillian Wendy Jackson, aged 35 was called to the Bar (G) in 2004. She was appointed as a fee-paid Tribunal Judge assigned to the First-Tier Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum chamber in 2011.
