Appointment of a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal: Habib Khan

The Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Ernest Ryder, has appointed Habib Aziz Khan as a Salaried Judge of the First-Tier Tribunal assigned to the Health Education and Social Care chamber, to exercise the Special Educational Needs and Disability, Care Standards and Primary Health Jurisdictions within that chamber.

He will be based in Darlington, with effect from 16 May 2016.

Habib Aziz Khan, aged 39, will be known as Tribunal Judge Habib Khan. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 2002. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Lawyer Chairman of the Rent Assessment Panel (now known as Fee-paid Judge of the First-Tier Tribunal, Property Chamber) in 2011 and as a Tribunal Judge of the First-Tier Social Entitlement Chamber in 2013.
