Appointment of a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal: Brownhill

The Senior President of Tribunals, The Right Honourable Sir Ernest Ryder, has appointed Joanna Francesca Brownhill to be a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber.

She will be based in Southampton with effect from 5 March 2018.

Joanna Francesca Brownhill, aged 42 was called to the Bar (G) in 1997. She was appointed in 2011 as both a fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Property Chamber and as a fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber. She will continue to sit as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal Property Chamber.
