Appointment of a Deputy President of the Health Education and Social Care Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal: Tudur

The Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Lord Justice Sullivan, has appointed Meleri Tudur as a Deputy President of the Health Education and Social Care Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal, Judge Tudur will have responsibility for the Special Educational Needs and Disability, Care Standards and Primary Health Lists Jurisdiction within that Chamber with effect from 20 October 2014.

Meleri Tudur, aged 55, was admitted as a Solicitor in 1983. She was appointed as a Fee-paid Legal Chairman of the Special Education Needs and Disability Tribunal for England in 1995, of the Social Security Appeals Tribunal in 1997, of the Child Support Appeals Tribunal in 1998, of the Disability Appeals Tribunal in 1999, of the Care Standards Tribunal in 2000, of the Special Educational Needs Tribunal for Wales in 2004 and as a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Health, Education and Social Care Chamber) in 2011.
