Appointment as a Salaried Judge of the Upper Tribunal, Tax and Chancery Chamber: Raghavan

HM The Queen has appointed Swaminathan Iyer (Known as Swami) Raghavan to be a Salaried Judge of the Upper Tribunal, assigned to the Tax and Chancery Chamber, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable David Gauke MP. He will take up post from 29 May 2018.

Notes to editors

Swami Raghavan, aged 46 will be known as Upper Tribunal Judge Raghavan. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1997. He was appointed as a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Tax Chamber in 2012 and as a Deputy Judge of the Upper Tribunal, Tax and Chancery Chamber in 2015.
