Appointment as a Salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal: Spencer

The Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Ernest Ryder, has appointed John Joseph Spencer (known as Joseph Spencer) as a salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber.

He will be based in Wakefield with effect from 29 January 2018.

John Joseph Spencer (known as Joseph Spencer), aged 38 was called to the Bar (G) in 2001. He was appointed as a fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber in 2011 and as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Court) in 2017.
