Appointment as a Resident Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber: Sutherland Williams

The Senior President of Tribunals, the Right Honourable Sir Ernest Ryder, has appointed Mark Sutherland Williams as a Resident Judge of the First-tier Tribunal assigned to the Immigration and Asylum chamber.

He will be based in Hatton Cross, London with effect from 18 September 2017.

Mark Sutherland Williams, age 50, was called to the Bar (I) in 1995. He was appointed as a fee-paid Tribunal Judge in 2002, as a salaried Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Social Entitlement Chamber) in 2011 and appointed as a Deputy Upper Tribunal Judge in the Administrative Appeals Chamber in 2014.
