Inquests arising from the deaths in The Westminster Terror Attack of 22 March 2017.
The inquest will take place at the Central Criminal Court in London and will begin on Monday 5 June 2017 and it is likely that the inquest will last at least 3 weeks.
The Chief Coroner has issued new Guidance on Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards ahead of the commencement of the relevant section of the Policing and Crime Act 2017 on 3 April 2017.
HHJ Peter Rook QC has been nominated by the Lord Chief Justice to be the Judge-Coroner.
The Chief Coroner has announced that His Honour Judge Nicholas Hilliard QC has been nominated by the Lord Chief Justice to be the judge-coroner to conduct the investigation.
Joanne Kearsley will take up the appointment in Spring 2017.
Alison Mutch OBE will take up the appointment on 1 February 2017.
