Annual data showing the background of courts judiciary by gender, ethnicity, profession and the total numbers of judges in each role. As some individuals hold more than one judicial post, the figures show the number of individuals which hold the specific post for the majority of the time.
(Note: From 2009, the ethnicity figures have been calculated as a percentage of the number of judges whose ethnicity is known, rather than the total number of judges.)
